As part of this vision, our People Team is opening an opportunity for an IT & Systems Intern to help us improve the way we manage our networks, devices, and internal tools. This internship is designed for someone curious, hands-on, and eager to learn how IT administration works in a fast-growing, international company.
If you’re passionate about technology, problem-solving, and contributing to a mission-driven environment, this internship will give you the chance to gain real-world experience while helping Smartex scale to the next level.
Responsibilities
- Support the administration and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, devices, and software.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and providing first-line support to employees.
- Help implement and improve processes for monitoring and managing IT equipment.
- Contribute to the setup, configuration, and documentation of systems and tools.
- Collaborate with the People and IT teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new employees.
- Participate in projects aimed at optimizing internal IT operations and enhancing security practices.
- Research and suggest improvements or tools that could streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Skills & Experience
- Currently enrolled in a professional course or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Networks, or related fields;
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Strong curiosity and eagerness to learn about IT administration, networking, and system management;
- Basic knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and networks (school-level or self-taught);
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, and international environment;
- Proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to take initiative.
