The Field Service Team at Smartex ensures the successful installation, maintenance, and optimization of our systems in factories worldwide. We are seeking a motivated Field Service Technician Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electromechanics, industrial troubleshooting, and customer-facing technical work. If you are eager to learn, excited by practical challenges, and passionate about smart industrial technology, this internship offers a unique opportunity to grow in a dynamic and mission-driven environment!
Responsibilities
- Support hardware installations and maintenance in industrial environments;
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software components;
- Learn and apply industrial tools, safety procedures, and communication protocols;
- Contribute to repair and rework activities, including component analysis and recovery;
- Document learnings and propose improvements from field exposure.
Skills & Experience
- Currently enrolled in a technical or professional course in Electrotechnics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or similar;
- Hands-on mindset with eagerness to learn in real industrial environments;
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems (school-level or self-taught);
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Eagerness to learn new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies;
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative startup environment, follow safety guidelines, and adapt to dynamic settings.
