Responsibilities
- Industry Engagement: Build strong connections with garment and vertical factory management to introduce Smartex and communicate the operational and quality benefits of our solutions.
- Pilot Execution: Lead supply chain efficiency pilots, ensuring Smartex’s impact on production quality and process optimization is effectively demonstrated.
- Technical Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of fabric and garment production processes, from knitting and dyeing to cutting, sewing, and inspection, to provide guidance on operational improvements.
- Brand Coordination: Collaborate closely with brand merchandisers, buyers, and quality control teams to identify their needs and position Smartex as an essential partner in sourcing and production.
- Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret data from pilots & operations, delivering actionable insights that support our clients & Smartex’s value proposition.
Skills & Experience
- +5 years of experience in the textile industry, with a focus on merchandising, sourcing, or raw materials.
- Highly hands-on profile with solid understanding of fabric production processes, from knitting to garment construction.
- Proven track record of working with multiple brands within the textile sector.
- Advanced skills in data analytics and strategic problem-solving.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior brand stakeholders.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
